Terms of Service

These terms apply to spark's hosted upload and viewer services, including the spark viewer, its storage service and live-viewing features. They do not apply to self-hosted or third-party instances. By using these hosted features, you agree to these terms. For details about data handling, see the Privacy Policy.
Uploads may be viewed or downloaded by anyone who has the link, so don't treat them as private.
1. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to upload, store or share content that is illegal, harmful, malicious, infringes another person's rights, or violates their privacy. Do not abuse, disrupt or attempt to compromise the service.
Only upload content you have the right and authority to share.
Uploads to spark's hosted viewer must result from a direct user action. Don't configure uploads to run unattended, for example, on a schedule or timer, automatically at startup, or repeatedly without the user initiating each upload. A user starting a profiler with an automatic stop timeout is still user-initiated.
The service uses rate limits to help keep it available for everyone. We may restrict or block access if it's used irresponsibly or in breach of these terms.
2. Your content
You retain any rights you have in content you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit and display that content as needed to provide, secure and operate the service.
You are responsible for the content you upload and for deciding who can access its link. We do not routinely review uploads and do not endorse user content.
3. Removal and availability
We may remove content or restrict access to the service where reasonably necessary, including to address abuse, protect the service, comply with law or enforce these terms. Uploads are temporary; we do not guarantee their availability or permanent storage. We may be unable to remove copies that others have downloaded or cached.
4. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without guarantees of uninterrupted service, availability or data retention. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, including loss or disclosure of uploaded content. Nothing in these terms limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
